About me
Hi! I am Chenwei Wang, a Ph.D. student at The University of Hong Kong (HKU), working on robotic manipulation and medical robotics in the Medical Intelligence and Robotic Recognition (MIRoC) Lab under the supervision of Prof. Zhongliang Jiang. I received my M.Phil. in Computer and Information Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen), supervised by Prof. Zhenglong Sun. My master’s research focused on autonomous robotic ultrasound-guided diagnosis and biopsy for superficial organs.
Before joining HKU, I was a research intern at the Institute of AI, China Telecom (TeleAI), working under the supervision of Dr. Chenjia Bai and Dr. Yang Zhang. My work focused on cross-embodiment imitation learning and real-world reinforcement fine-tuning for vision-language-action (VLA) models. My current research interests lie at the intersection of robot learning, egocentric data in embodied AI, and medical robotics.
I am always open to research discussions and collaboration. Please feel free to contact me by email.
